Galbanum or Ferula galbaniflua is a tree resin originating from Iran. This product comes from the beautiful country of Turkey.
 
Galbanum has a myriad of uses and this is why, next to Frankincense, it's one of my favorites. 
 
Uses for skincare: 
Abcesses
Acne
Cuts
Heals scar tissue
Tones the skin
Wrinkle diminishing
Good for mature skin
 
Galbanum is also wonderful when used as an aid to meditation and helps calm nervous tension and anxiety. It smells fresh, green and a tad bit astringent. It's lovely.
